What is a natal chart and what happens in a reading?
A natal chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment you were born, from the vantage of earth. You can think of it as a "cosmic fingerprint" and no two natal charts are identical. The natal chart holds a wealth of knowledge that we as astrologers decode by observing planetary positions by house and zodiac sign, and by aspect (the angle that two planets make to each other in the chart).
